The Women's Film Fund of China Film Foundation, initiated by Sichuan Film and Television University under the guidance of the China Film Foundation, is dedicated to championing women-focused filmmaking and advancing arts education through practical empowerment.
The logo centers on the Chinese character “女” (“woman”), using a calligraphic form to express the warmth, resilience, and inner strength of Chinese women. Soft yet powerful, the mark conveys a distinct cultural spirit shaped by both tenderness and determination. Three rectangular perforations are embedded within the form, referencing the language of film while symbolizing diverse female perspectives.
Inspired by the idea of a kaleidoscope, the event’s visual identity reflects multiplicity, transformation, and limitless creative possibility. As women’s stories come into view, cinema refracts emotion, perspective, and imagination into new ways of seeing the world. Across the four themed film sections, the kaleidoscope serves as the core visual motif, shifting through color, composition, and form to express the diversity and individuality of each program.
