In 2021, we were commissioned to redesign the visual identity of “Sichuan Film and Television University”, one of China's leading institutions for arts education, founded in 1992.
The original logo, designed by Professor Yin Jiulong, had become an important cultural symbol of the university through decades of use. The challenge of this rebranding project was to preserve its heritage while injecting new vitality, helping establish a more refined and contemporary image for the institution.
To honor the legacy of the original mark, we retained its three iconic elements—the human silhouette, film strip, and crown—along with their established composition. Through subtle refinements to the graphic details and linework, the symbol became visually softer, more balanced, and easier to recognize.
The typography was completely reimagined with a more modern and distinctive character set. A newly introduced gold accent color enriches the visual system, adding sophistication and dynamism while complementing the university’s classic palette. Together, these updates strengthen the logo’s recognizability and reinforce the university's identity as a high-quality institution dedicated to arts education.

2021年我们为四川电影电视学院进行了形象升级设计
四川电影电视学院成立于1992年，是国内艺术代表院校之一。
旧版LOGO标识是殷九龙老师的早期作品，经过几十年的沉淀已成为川影的文化符号，其品牌升级的意义，在传承文化精神之上，又能展现出新的生命力，建立起具有高品质、高质量的艺术高校形象。 于是我们保留了人物剪影、胶片、王冠三大元素及组合方式，对图形的线条细节进行了微调，视觉上更加舒适、柔和。
在字体设计上，我们进行了全新演绎，采用更现代的字形。新增的金色作为品牌辅助色，提升整体质感，在沉稳基调中注入灵动气息。经典的色彩搭配进一步强化了Logo图形的识别度。
